Games With Gold Rundown for May 1-15

The first half of May is upon us, and brought with it a new batch of Games With Gold. The Walking Dead: Season Two continues from last month’s lineup, and will last until May 15. Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Director’s Cut will last all month and be available until May 31, while Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is available on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One until May 15. It follows up on the original Force Unleashed being given away a few months back via GWG.

The first season of The Walking Dead was given away for free before as well, so it’s nice to see some series-related continuity so people can effectively play through an entire series for free. Those wanting a nice adventure game with a horror bend will enjoy TWD, while platforming fans will love Giana Sisters. It was a gorgeous-looking game on the Xbox 360, and the revamped version is basically like playing that game on high/ultra settings on PC. It looks even better, and is one of the best platformers of the last decade.
